County-wide delivery

Your Flooring Specialist Across Berkshire

Five unitary authorities share this stretch west of London, with no county council above them, and the housing is as divided as the administration. A post-war new town, Victorian brick suburbs and a medieval cloth centre sit within a short drive of one another. Owner-occupation swings widely between neighbouring towns, and the right specification swings with it.

Post-war and new-town building put a concrete ground floor under a large part of the housing, so the opening job is a moisture reading and a look at the membrane rather than levelling boards. The historic centres run the other way, timber over a cavity inside conservation areas that ask what may be lifted at all. Purpose-built blocks add a lease condition on top.

Common questions

Flooring in Berkshire, FAQs

Do you deliver flooring across Berkshire?
Yes. Orders travel across RG and SL, covering Bracknell Forest, Windsor and Maidenhead, West Berkshire, Reading and Slough, which is five separate authorities on one delivery list, together with the villages around them at Binfield, Warfield, Chieveley, Datchet and Bray.
Which flooring is most popular in Berkshire?
Click-fit LVT does most of the work here, because so much of the ground floor is concrete: no boards to sand, a shallow build-up, and a surface that shrugs off a change of tenant where renting has grown fastest. In the historic streets, engineered wood over a levelled base repays the difference.
Can I order flooring samples in Berkshire?
Samples are sent to any RG or SL address, as many as the decision needs. While you wait, lift a corner of what is down now. Within a mile you can find boards over joists or a slab and screed, and the sample suited to one is the wrong build-up for the other.
