What is the difference between herringbone and chevron?
Herringbone lays rectangular blocks in a stepped zigzag; chevron blocks are angle-cut so rows meet in continuous arrow points. Herringbone reads classic, chevron reads modern.
Is parquet available with underfloor heating?
Yes, choose engineered parquet blocks: the layered core keeps the pattern stable over UFH, which solid blocks cannot guarantee.
Does parquet cost more to fit?
Yes, pattern fitting is skilled work and takes roughly twice as long as straight planks. Budget around 15% material waste for the cuts.
