Product details
Oxford Herringbone Whitewashed Oak is the palest block of the finer Oxford size: engineered European oak, 14 mm thick, 90 mm wide and 450 mm long, Classic grade, brushed and matt lacquered over a white wash, with a 3 mm wear layer. A whitewashed herringbone makes a small room look larger and gives a coastal or Scandinavian scheme its floor.
The brushed, matt lacquered surface hides small dark marks in its texture, wipes clean and is refinished as a whole floor when it has worn; a pale floor asks for doormats and felt pads more than any other. Tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box of 48 blocks covers 1.944 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 15 years.
The Oxford White Oiled block at 125 mm by 600 mm is the pale tone with a white oil and a smooth surface; the Oxford Light Oak block is one step warmer with an invisible lacquer. For a whitewashed plank in the same surface, the Weybridge Whitewashed Oak.
