Oxford Herringbone Oak Brushed UV Oiled Wood Flooring 14 x 90 x 450 (mm)

A 90 mm by 450 mm block gives a fine, busy herringbone that suits hallways and rooms of ordinary size.

Brushed and oiled is the surface for a patterned floor that is walked on: the texture hides fine scratches, and a worn run of blocks at a doorway is re-oiled locally with the manufacturer's maintenance oil. The block is tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, listed as compatible with underfloor heating, and a box of 48 blocks covers 1.944 square metres; the manufacturer's warranty is 15 years.

Herringbone needs a higher cutting allowance than planks and a set-out from the centre line of the room. The Oxford Lacquered block is the smooth, lacquered version of the same natural oak; the Oxford Natural Brushed at 125 mm by 600 mm is the same surface in the broader block.
