Weybridge Coffee Oak Wood Flooring 14 x 190 x 1900 (mm)

A coffee tone on a 190 mm board reads as one dark surface in a large room, and the Classic grade keeps the colour even from board to board.

The brushed, matt lacquered surface is the answer to a dark floor's two habits, showing dust and showing fine scratches: the texture breaks the lines up, the matt film avoids reflections, and the lacquer wipes clean. When the film has worn it is sanded and refinished as one floor. The plank is tongue and groove with a micro-bevelled edge and listed as compatible with underfloor heating; eight boards fill a box of 2.888 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 15 years.

A dark wide plank needs a room with daylight from more than one side or warm artificial light; in a small single-aspect room, the Weybridge Golden Wheat or Grey Washed planks are the safer neighbours. The Ascot Coffee Oak is the same tone at 125 mm; the Weybridge Hazelnut Oak the same width with a UV oil.
