Weybridge Whitewashed Oak Wood Flooring 14 x 190 x 1900 (mm)

A pale floor shows dark marks, and this board answers with a brushed surface that hides small ones and a lacquer that wipes clean; it is refinished as a whole floor when the film has worn. Doormats and felt pads matter more on a pale floor than on any other. The board is tongue and groove and micro-bevelled, is listed as compatible with underfloor heating, and comes eight to a box for 2.888 square metres, with the manufacturer's warranty at 15 years.

It makes a small room larger and a Scandinavian scheme convincing. The Weybridge White Oiled Oak is the smooth, oiled version of the pale tone in the same format; the Weybridge Grey Washed Oak is the same board with a cool grey instead of white; the Oxford Whitewashed herringbone blocks carry the colour into a patterned floor.
