Product details
Oxford Herringbone Light Oak is the pale block of the finer Oxford size: engineered European oak, 14 mm thick, 90 mm wide and 450 mm long, Classic grade, brushed, finished with an invisible matt lacquer, with a 3 mm wear layer.
The invisible lacquer keeps the raw, sanded colour of the oak without the amber cast a conventional lacquer adds, so the herringbone reads pale and dry.
A brushed matt lacquer is the pale floor that asks least: it wipes clean, resists abrasion better than an oil, and the brushing hides the dark marks a pale smooth floor shows. Refinished as a whole floor when it has worn. Tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box of 48 blocks covers 1.944 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 15 years.
The Oxford Light Brushed at 125 mm by 600 mm is the same pale finish in the broader block; the Oxford Whitewashed block is one step paler with a white pigment; for a light oak plank in the same invisible lacquer, the Cobham Light Oak board.
