Product details

BML Truffle Oak is the warm mid-tone of the click plank range: a 5.2 mm SPC board at 181 mm by 1220 mm, textured, micro-bevelled, click-fitted. The colour is listed as truffle oak, a brown with more warmth than the natural oak plank and less depth than the chocolate one.

Rigid vinyl is chosen for the rooms wood cannot go: the plank itself is waterproof, the core stays flat in a steamy bathroom, and the floor is mopped rather than nursed. The wear layer is 0.3 mm, the underlay is attached, and the boards float over a flat, dry subfloor without glue. Commercial grade, listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box holds 10 boards and covers 2.21 square metres; manufacturer's warranty 25 years.

Truffle is the colour for a kitchen that wants warmth without going dark. The BML Farmhouse Oak plank is the golden alternative in the same format, the BML Chocolate Oak the darker one, and the BML Rustic Oak Wide carries a warm oak into the wide board.
