Windsor Solid Brushed Oak Wood Flooring 18 x 150 (mm)

A 150 mm solid plank with an oiled, textured surface is the floor of a farmhouse kitchen, and it is looked after the way that floor has been for generations, by re-oiling where it wears.

Brushing hides fine scratches, oil is repaired locally with the manufacturer's maintenance oil, and the solid oak beneath can be sanded and refinished for decades. Solid oak moves with humidity, so the subfloor must be dry and the boards acclimatised before laying. Tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, not listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box covers 1.44 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 20 years.
