BML Misty Oak Wide is the soft grey plank of the wide rigid vinyl range: 6.5 mm SPC, 228 mm by 1524 mm, textured surface, micro-bevelled edges, click-fitted. The colour is listed as grey oak, and misty is the hazy, washed end of that grey, the tone of a board left pale rather than stained.

A wide, pale grey floor is the usual choice for an open-plan kitchen with white units, and the plank itself is waterproof, so it goes under the units and on into the utility room. Its 0.55 mm wear layer is the thicker of the two the range uses, the underlay is already on the back of each board, and the click joint makes the floor a floating one for a flat, dry subfloor. Commercial grade and listed as compatible with underfloor heating, it comes 5 boards to a box, 1.74 square metres, with a 25 year manufacturer's warranty.

The BML Misty Oak click plank is the same colour in the narrower format; the BML Grey Oak Wide the firmer grey in the same width; the BML Grey-beige Oak Wide the warmer neighbour.
