Marlow Solid Smoked Oak Parquet Blocks 18 x 90 x 300 (mm)

The oiled, brushed surface arrives finished, so the floor is laid, cleaned and walked on, and a worn area is re-oiled locally with the manufacturer's maintenance oil in the years that follow. Because the blocks are solid oak and glued, the subfloor preparation is the larger part of the job. Tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, not listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box covers 1.08 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 20 years.

The Marlow Natural Oak and Light Oak blocks are the paler tones with a brushed matt lacquer; the Marlow Unfinished block is for a floor sanded flat and sealed on site. For a smoked herringbone over underfloor heating, the engineered Oxford Fumed Oak blocks.
