BML Herringbone Vintage Fumed Oak is the dark block of the rigid vinyl parquet: 6.5 mm SPC, 126 mm by 630 mm, click-fitted, textured, micro-bevelled. The colour is listed as dark oak, with the fumed, aged character of the name: the brown of an old parquet floor rather than a stained new one.

A dark herringbone is a strong floor for a hallway or a kitchen-diner, and here the plank itself is waterproof, so the pattern goes under the sink and past the back door. The wear layer is 0.55 mm, the underlay is attached, and the blocks click together as a floating floor over a flat, dry subfloor. Commercial grade, listed as compatible with underfloor heating; 24 blocks to a box covering 1.905 square metres; 25 year manufacturer's warranty.
