Windsor Solid Smooth Oak Wood Flooring 18 x 125 (mm)

Because it is solid oak throughout, the floor can be sanded and refinished repeatedly, and because it is smooth and lacquered it is wiped clean between those refinishes. What it asks for is a dry subfloor and time to acclimatise in the room, since solid oak moves with humidity more than an engineered board. Tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, not listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box covers 1.2 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 20 years.

The Windsor Solid Brushed 125 mm is the same board brushed and oiled for hallways and kitchens; the hand scraped Coffee, Golden and Golden Brown boards add texture and colour in the same width. For a heated room, the engineered Ascot Lacquered Oak is the smooth, lacquered natural oak at 125 mm.
