Alexandria Cream is a warm marble-effect porcelain tile with a polished surface: 600 mm by 1200 mm, 9 mm thick, made in Spain, listed for floors and walls. Cream rather than white, it follows a warm-toned marble, which suits a bathroom with brass fittings or a hallway with a wooden staircase better than a cool white stone.

Polished porcelain gives the sheen of a polished marble with a water absorption listed below 0.50 per cent: frost resistant and cleaned with water and a neutral cleaner. It is listed as compatible with underfloor heating. A polished floor shows water spots, so it is chosen for hallways, living rooms and bathroom walls more than for a shower floor. A box holds 2 tiles and covers 1.44 square metres.

Alexandria White is the same marble in the cool tone; Taj Mahal Cappuccino the warm banded stone; Wabi Sabbia the warm lappato tile for a floor that will be wet.
