Limited Structural Warranty
We warrant the structural integrity of our engineered and solid wood flooring. This warranty covers manufacturing defects such as delamination, provided the floor was installed in accordance with our technical specifications.
- Residential: Lifetime cover for structural stability in residential settings.
- Commercial: Separate terms apply to high-traffic commercial installations.
- Material: Any remedy is limited to the supplied material and excludes installation costs.
Appearance & Grading Standards
Wood is a natural material. Every board is unique in colour and grain. Any appearance-related concern must be raised before installation.
- Inspection: The installer must visually inspect and approve every board before gluing or fixing it.
- Grading: Natural grading variation, including knots and sapwood, may occur within accepted industry tolerances.
- UV effect: Natural colour changes caused by light exposure are not considered a manufacturing defect.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unsuitable conditions or extreme external influences:
- Moisture: Damage caused by leaks, flooding or a missing or inadequate damp-proof membrane.
- Physical damage: Deep scratches, dents from narrow heels or damage caused by heavy objects.
- Cleaning: Damage caused by steam cleaners, excessive water or unsuitable aggressive cleaning products.
Environment & Humidity
A stable indoor climate with approximately 45%–60% relative humidity is required. Excessively dry conditions can cause cracking, shrinkage and gaps.
- Hygrometer: Monitor indoor humidity, particularly during the heating season.
- Humidification: During winter, a suitable humidifier may be needed to protect the timber.
